Editorial policy

Lasting Sports Network aims to make sport easier to understand without dressing uncertainty up as fact. We write in plain language, separate explanation from opinion and correct material errors when they are brought to our attention.

Accuracy and clarity

We check claims against reliable, relevant information available to the editors and avoid presenting a disputed or variable detail as universal. Where a rule, custom or practice differs between sports or organisers, we say so when it matters. Articles are written to inform, not to provide professional medical advice or a substitute for coaching.

Independence

Editorial decisions belong to the publication. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage, a favourable view or control of an article. We aim to explain the basis of an argument and avoid claims that cannot be supported.

Corrections

Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review the point, amend material errors where warranted and make the changed wording clear in context. We do not promise that every disagreement will result in a change.

Partner material and illustrations

Accepted partner content and paid placements are clearly identified as advertising or partner material, separate from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where an image could be mistaken for documentary photography, we identify it as an illustration.
