Write for us

Lasting Sports Network welcomes pitches that explain a specific part of sport in a way a careful beginner can use. A strong proposal has a clear reader question, a distinct angle and a sensible scope.

What to pitch

We are interested in accessible explanations of game rules and roles, thoughtful first steps into participation, focused practice ideas, equipment literacy and the customs that help people feel oriented. Each pitch should centre on one subject rather than promise a broad survey.

What makes a good proposal

Tell us the working title, the reader question, the main point you would make and why it matters to a general reader. Note what information the piece would rely on and where its limits are. Avoid unsupported performance promises, medical claims and advice that depends on local rules or specialist supervision.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and select the editorial question option. Include enough detail to assess the idea; a full draft is not needed unless requested. A proposal is not a promise of publication, and we cannot guarantee a reply to every submission.
